Ladysmith Festival of Lights

Celebrating its 38th year, this beloved community event transforms Ladysmith with thousands of twinkling Christmas lights along First Avenue. From the last Thursday in November until the second Sunday in January, the town comes alive with festive spirit. The season kicks off with the Light Up Parade on November 27th, 2025. Drive or stroll down the illuminated streets, shop local businesses, and soak in the magical holiday atmosphere. This non-profit, volunteer-run event draws visitors from across the region and is truly a can’t-miss Island tradition.

Parksville Winterfest
